CLXXIV. Now keep me steadfast, dearest Lord

1 Now keep me stedfast dearest Lord,
That I may serve thee with regard;
As one baptiz'd in thine own way,
And never let me from thee stray.

2 LORD give me strength for ev'ry day,
To do thy will, rejoice and pray;
Long have I liv'd and did not know
My strength must all form JESUS flow.

3 The work that he ahth wroguth for us
Doth testify it must be thus;
Come praise the Lord, 'tis he I know,
And of his mercy share below.

4 Come Lord, come quickly, come away,
Come quickly Lord, and with me stay;
Come Lord, and feed we with the sheep
And from hencefoth forever keep.

5 Me where thy sweetest pastures be,
Till thou shall take me up to thee;
Till then when on my knees I cry,
Lod hear my prayer, send quick supply.
