Buried: North Swansea, Rhode Island. The 1900 census shows Ingler as a "vocalist" living in Denver, Colorado. The 1920 census shows him as a Nazarene preacher in Tillamook, Oregon. After the death of his wife Amalia, he moved east and married Lura Horton, who at the time was pastor of the People’s Church of the Nazarene in Providence, Rhode Island. The two of them served joint pastorates in Fitchburg, Massachusetts; Jackman, Maine; North Attleboro, Massachusetts; New Haven, Connecticut; and, in 1931, at Emmanuel Church, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Lynn Bauman

b. 1942 Scripture: John 3:21 Author of "Pure Love" in More Voices Lynn Bauman is director of the Praxis Retreat and Learning Center in northeast Texas. He completed a B.A. in Biblical Studies and began graduate studies in Near Eastern studies at UCLA. He is an author and partner in publishing materials for spiritual formation and contemplative living. His book Ancient Songs Sung Anew: the Psalms as poetry is the source of many of his hymns. He is also taught comparative religion, ascetical theology, spirituality and hermeneutics. He is abbot in The Oriental Orthodox Order int he West" an order devoted to a path of contemplative wisdom. In addition, he has translated many important Coptic texts, including The Gospel of Thomas.
