Clarence B. Strouse

1869 - 1918 Person Name: C. B. S. Composer of "[When the golden gates are opened And I enter in to]" in Glad Tidings in Song Strouse, a minister, at one time edited The Religious Review of Reviews. Copyright records indicate he was living in Salem, Virginia, in 1901. As of February 1905, he was president of the Florida Winter Bible Conference in Gainesville, Florida. (hymntime.com/tch)

1838 - 1905 Author of "That Will Be Glory" in Glad Tidings in Song Charles Billett, born in Camberwell, England in 1838 to Christian parents. He worked as a business man, but he opened his home for fellow believers to meet and held Bible readings. He and his wife took in children and cared for him. He was also a poet.
