Representative Text

1 How good and pleasant must it be
to thank the LORD Most High,
And with repeated songs of praise
His name to magnify.
To proclaim Your steadfast love abroad
when dawns the morning light,
And to declare Your faithfulness
with pleasure ev'ry night.

Refrain:
I will sing, I will sing,
Of Your steadfast love I'll sing.
Of Your steadfast love and faithfulness
my mouth will always sing.

2 I'll praise You on stringed instruments,
upon the psaltery.
With lute and harp make joyful sounds
and sweetest melody.
For by Your wondrous works O LORD,
You make my heart rejoice.
And thoughts of them shall make me glad,
I'll sing with cheerful voice. [Refrain]
