1 I hear my blessed Savior say:
"Follow Me, follow Me, follow Me";
His voice is calling all the day,
"Follow Me, follow Me, follow Me;
For thee I trod the bitter way
For thee I gave My life away,
and drank the gall thy debt to pay,

2 "Though thou hast sinned, I’ll pardon thee,

from inbred sin I’ll set thee free,

In all thy changing life I’ll be
thy God, thy guide o’er land and sea,
thy bliss through all eternity,

3 "Come, cast upon Me all thy cares,

thy heavy load My arm upbears,

Lean on My breast, dismiss thy fears,
and trust Me through the future years,

4 Dear Lord, I yield all to Thy will,
I’ll follow Thee, follow Thee, follow Thee;
O, bid my struggling soul be still,
take me, Lord, for I will follow Thee.
Come, cleanse, and with Thy Spirit fill,
and keep me safe from ev'ry ill,
and all Thy Word in me fulfill,
for I will, yes, I will, follow Thee.
