ألواحد الحيِّ العليْ
إلهِنا ربِّ الجنودْ
باري البرايا الأزلي

2 يا أيها الآبُ السميعْ
إقبَل بنيكَ المؤمنينْ
أمام عرشكَ الرفيعْ
نجثو جميعاً ساجدينْ

3 يا أيها الفادي الوحيدْ
إمنح خلاصك الثمينْ
واجعلْ بنا الحبَّ الشديدْ
ينمو على مرِّ السنينْ

4 يا روحَ ربنا القديرْ
يا مَن يُطهِّرُ القلوبْ
لسنا سواك نستجيرْ
من الخطايا والعيوبْ

5 للآبِ والابنِ الحبيبْ
والروحِ طُرّا نسجدُ

George Edward Ford, son of an American Missionary, was born in Aleppo, Syria, and lived in Sidon. There he founded the National Evangelical Institute for Girls & boys, along with Rev.
