Ann Marcus [sic] Minga (Mrs. T. Herbert) is a resident of Denton, Texas, where her husband is District Superintendent of the Methodist Church. Born in Clarendon, Texas, she has spent most of her life in tat State. Her bachelor's degree was received from Southwestern University, and her master's from Columbia University. She did graduate work also at Duke University. She has taught English and speech in Wesley College, Centenary College, Southwestern University, North Texas State College and East Texas State College. She is a member of the Poetry Society of Texas; and has written many poems, some of which have received noteworthy recognition. She has been active in the work of the Methodist Church, and served as a delegate to the Uniting Conference which joined the Northern and Southern branches of Methodism.
