John Edwards

1879 - 1930 Person Name: John Edwards, Penrhiwceibr (1878-1928) Composer of "MAESGWYN" in Welsh and English Hymns and Anthems John Edwards, was born May 6, 1879 in Argoed, Monmouthshire, Wales. He died in the village of Norwood, Ontario, Canada on April 12, 1930. He was professor of music at Penrhiwceibr until 1925, when he emigrated to North America.
