George Rogers

1805 - 1846 Author of "There is a Sabbath rest, O Lord" Rogers, Rev. George. (1805--July 6, 1846, Cincinnati, Ohio). A Universalist minister, author and editor. He published a Universalist Hymn Book in 1845, in which he included 26 hymns which he had written. Four of his hymns are included in Church Harmonies: New and Old, 1895: 1. As gentle dews distil 2.
