Vocal composer, pupil of the Liepsic Conservatorium; organist and music director at Burgdorf, Switzerland. He has composed very popular choruses for male voices. Cyclopedia of Music and Musicians by John Denison Camplin, Jr. and William Foster Apthorp (Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1888)
