1846 - 1875 Person Name: Geo. E. Lee Composer of "[Sleep on, beloved, sleep, and take thy rest]" in The Golden Sheaf No. 2 Lee, George E. (? July, 1846--January 11, 1875, Biddeford, Maine). Advent Christian. His frequent contributions to the Adventist papers were well received. He was a piano tuner, and his legacy of Adventist hymns is rich. Took his own life. --Moses C.
